Creation = Translation

Part of why we are here is to be bridges between non-physical reality and physical reality.

I think that is what creation is, for us, at the most basic level. The expressing of non-physical ideas and energy into the container of physical reality. And when they are expressed through any one of us, they are shaped and influenced by our unique energy, our unique perspective.

One tendril of non physical energy can be manifested in so many ways. We create forms of communication like telephones, cave drawings, carrier pigeons, and social media. We create with food, coming up with recipes, cake designs, artful plate presentations, and food fights. We create with the movement of our bodies from ballet to twerking, racing to skateboarding, judo to boxing. We create blueprints, games, books, equations, paint colours, organizations, sports, languages, movies, fashions, podcasts, spacecrafts.

We can design, play, write, paint, dance, knit, craft, converse, style, build, sculpt, and sing.

We can also tinker with what has already been brought forth to the physical and put our own flavour on it. We reshape, redesign, re-combine, rewrite, and reimagine.

I see creation as translation. The translation of non-physical into physical form using our bodies, our voice, our action.
