Air and water. Whales and Dolphins, like other aquatic mammals, live in one environment but need the other to survive
But our we that much different? How long can a human last without water? We can go longer without drinking water than they can without surfacing for a gulp of air, but eventually we have to find a water source
It’s interesting to think of it that way. We take gulps of water, store it in our body, and then wander around on dry land. But we have to go back to consume more water. The same way that whales and dolphins have to go back to the surface to gulp air before returning to the ocean depths
Blue whales are so large but so gentle. Creatures that are so massive that they would be crushed by their own weigh on land are harmless to humans
It’s amazing watching people come together without question to try and help beached whales and dolphins, despite the huge challenges
Dolphins are considered one of the most, if not the most, intelligent animals. But what if they are just as intelligent as us? More intelligent than us?
How do we compare intelligence between apiece with such vastly different environments, body shapes, desires?
