One interesting thing that I found since beginning my daily hold with love practice is that you cannot do this exercise and also completely hold on to energy like irritation or resentment.

I’ve actually started deliberately choosing people that I am a bit miffed at as the subject of this practice. Each time my attitude towards them has shifted, with the miffed energy almost seeming to dissolve.

It’s not about whether or not I was justified in my feelings. It’s about releasing that energy from my field.
