Sit cross legged with your back straight on the floor. Take a few moments and feel each part of your body from your face and neck to your ankles and toes relax one by one.

The Earth Chakra is our connection to the energy of our planet. It is always there below us regardless of how far away from the ground we may be. The Earth Chakra stabilizes and connects us to the Earth the same way the roots of a tree stabilize and connect it to the Earth.
Now with your mind’s eye see solid, stone energy represented by grey light, soft, life-giving energy represented by brown light, and creative, fathomless possibilities represented by black light being drawn from across our planet, into your Earth Chakra, and then up into your energy field and physical body. See each of these colours flowing into you one after the other or at the same time. Feel the steadiness of this connection, and feel yourself being infused with these characteristics as well as the still strength of the Earth itself.
