One thing I have had to make peace with in my spiritual practice is change.
A current example of this is the way I energetically ground to Earth.
At the end of last year, I would ground to the magma core of Mother Earth. I visualized light streaming down from above, passing through my seven in-body chakras, my Earth Chakra, and reaching all the way down to Earth’s magma core.
In January, the way I saw my chakras suddenly shifted. Instead of seven individual spheres of light, I saw a single shaft of milky white light with strands of different colours running through the centre of my body. The core of the Earth changed as well, from magma to a crystalline core.
Since January, the phrase that I say and what I see has changed twice more.
In the past, I was reluctant to alter practices that used to served me. I would insist on using the same phrase. I’d always use the same sequence I had used before.
I slowly made peace with change. The practices that serve me now will help me to expand and unfold. And as I expand and unfold, my practices will change as well. A mirroring.
What served me before wasn’t wrong or basic. It was simply what was best for my highest good at that time.
More peace with change, with how I see energy, in relationships, has been one of the biggest life benefits of my spiritual practice.
How about you? What is one aspect of yourself or sphere of your life that has benefitted greatly from your spiritual practice, in whatever form it takes?
