This path of spirituality and integration moves in cycles. We can look at something coming up for ourselves, sit with it, integrate it, think we are done with it, only for that same energy pattern to circle back around and present a new layer of itself.
It did used to frustrate me earlier on my journey, but now I greet it as a level up. Confirmation that I did move through a layer, expand, and I’m now ready to go deeper.
A thought I had this morning is that it is interesting how this movement often progresses for the bigger or deeper patterns.
It often starts with something personal, like a disagreement, a subject that keeps getting mentioned, or a set of uncomfortable circumstances. But when I come round to the next layer, and then the next, it starts to widen. I see that same pattern in my family and ancestors. I begin to see the same patterns in our human collective consciousness.
This moving through layers of a pattern from the very personal to the general is another reminder that we are not separate beings. It is a reminder that what flows through our collective flows through each one of us. Macro patterns to be lived and expressed on the micro level in our own particular and unique ways.
