Last week I shifted how I approach my Grace meditations.
Before, I would focus on Source, on Grace. I would let the wonder of all that Source is spread across my conscious mind.
But as I was doing this, I was always focused outside of myself. I would focus in front of me, around me, and see Source with my mind’s eye.
But now I have shifted so that when I focus on Source, on Grace, I am focusing within. I now feel Source emanating from a point at the centre of my chest, close to my heart.
I think it was quite telling that I started out placing Source firmly outside of myself. Despite the number of times that I have read that we are all One, despite thinking that I understood and accepted this, in my mind the belief that Source was other, more perfect, holier, unreachable, still held sway.
This simple change led to a deepening of my understanding, beyond the level of intellect and the mind. Source is not out there somewhere. Source is right here, right now, in all of us.
Source is in me. Source is me.
