Just sit back and enjoy the unfolding.
~~Abraham Hicks
We are certainly an outcome-focussed society.
What would things look like if instead of deciding what type of circumstances or outcomes we wanted we focussed on our inner world? What if we focussed on what state of being we wanted to embody?
This is a bit of a scary proposition. We believe we have to manage and control our external environment. So if we were to take our focus off of that and switch to our inner world, what would happen to our outer world?
Switching to a state-focussed way of life would require trust. Trust in the Universe and in the unseen. Trust that as we embrace new and beneficial states of being our outer world would in turn unfold in a corresponding and beneficial way.
Trust that it truly is what’s inside that counts.
For those who believe in a mechanistic universe and a physical reality based on separation, this trust may be difficult to come by. However, within this belief system one can still appreciate that by enriching their state of being they can positively impact their life as they see with clarity, make better decision, and respond to events with more awareness.
