2020 Week 13 Contemplation Thoughts
“Change is the only constant” has a sense of eternal that impermanence doesn’t have
I feel like “Change the only constant” and impermanence are looking at the same idea from opposite directions
I heard a Spirituality teacher say many years ago that things like situations can have the appearance of being unchanging only because they are constantly changing into the same thing over and over. But change still underlies everything
Default = change
This would mean that change is what naturally happens. Creating the appearance of something being unchanging would require effort and energy
