7 Breaths Exercise

I originally posted this simple exercise as a way for people to work on concentration and become more aware.

However, it’s also useful for taking a mini break to clear the mind and break any thought cycles we might be in. Taking our concentration off the thought cycle for even a brief time will help to break up its momentum and create space for other ideas and energies to flow in.

If you like, you can focus on breathing from your abdomen/diaphragm during the exercise.
