About Visualizations, Meditations, and Contemplations

The terms visualization, meditation, and contemplation are used in slightly different ways by different people. However the terms are used, they all are simple tools that gives each of us the freedom to delve into our inner world wherever or whenever we wish.

When I use the word visualization I’m referring to using mental imagery in order to achieve a desired emotion or create a shift in your personal energy field.

For me, meditation is the act of detaching yourself from thought. It isn’t wrestling with and stopping all thought but rather taking a step back and giving yourself the space to see that you are not your thoughts.

And finally contemplation is holding an idea or concept in your mind in order to acquire a deeper understanding of it. I often contemplate things such as non judgement or beauty to obtain a more visceral knowing as opposed to just an intellectual understanding of these ideas.

You’ll find both my Visualizations page and my Meditations and Exercises page under Resources.

Visualizations on this site are divided into five categories.

You can also request a visualization.
